Depends on which one. lol If my Compaq Armada doesn't have support for Superdisks and if the ram isn't up to it's full capacity of 192 and if the hard disk isn't 2 gb as it should be, I'd change all that. My HP Pavilian needs a new motherboard but that in itself would be $400 or more so that's out. As for my netbook, I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a serial or a parallel port, a pcmcia card slot, a floppy drive or cd rom drive. Not sure if any of those could be fixed in or out of that price range. It was $300 altogether so. lol Probably, the only thing I could safely do is get a new synthesizer. That or a new battery and cord for my Keynote gold 1200XE but I won't be using it much once the Compaq's up and running.

You know most people don't have the death grip on older technology you have, and there just isn't enouch room on a netbook engineering wise to build all that stuff in. There may very well be a usb to serial or parrallel port adapter out there though. Personally I would like one thing and one thing only .. ok maybe 2. A net book that has a real core 2 duo or core 2 quad processor in it .. and maybe the ability to take up to 4gb or ram or more.

lol Yeah, I figured that was an impossibility. There are usb to serial connectors and I have one but haven't tried it yet. I prefer these things built-in but on a netbook, as you said, that's pushing it. Oops, that should've been enhanced to 10 gb not 2 on the Compaq. I sure hope it's not 2!
